When our colleague took the wheel of the all-new Micro Bird G5e 175 kWh electric bus during a recent road test for a major tradeshow, we knew we were putting our latest innovations to the test – quite literally – on the open road. What happened next spoke louder than any spec sheet. We drove nearly 200 miles across mixed terrain, with elevation changes, stop-and-go traffic, and real-world school route condi- tions. The bus performed flawlessly and still had power left.
